POSITION: ACCOUNT CLERK

SUMMARY: This is a full-time position responsible for routine bookkeeping of tenant accounts and records; computes and prepares excess utility bills; collects and deposits money received in payment of rent and other charges; prepares and maintains record of delinquent accountsfor late and warrant notices; processes collection of former tenant accounts; serves as receptionist as needed; and performs a variety of clerical, accounting and related tasks. Ideal candidate will have thorough knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting procedures; knowledge of U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) tenant account procedures; proficiencyin Microsoft Office; completedhigh school, preferably supplemented by business or college training; or any combination of experience and training which provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities and possession ofa valid driver’s license issued by the Commonwealth of Virginia and acceptable driving record.

POSITION: HOUSING CHOICE VOUCHER (HCV) SPECIALIST

SUMMARY: The primary responsibililty of the HCV Specialist is to provide techincal support to the Housing Choice Voucher (HCV) Program recipients and private sector landlords.
